Cable boot toppers knit pattern

I have always admired cables in knitting. The intricate designs are one of the main reasons I learned to knit. I remember working on a crochet sweater pattern that was supposed to be a knit cable copy-cat. But there were some major issues – crochet does not stretch the same as knitting and it was very time-intensive. I figured it would be just as quick to learn how to knit. These days, with a small child, it’s more manageable for me to work on smaller projects. To fulfill my love of cable work and my need for quick projects, I designed this Celtic cable boot toppers knit pattern.

For me, I typically choose neutral colors for my accessories because my clothes tend to be fairly bright and colorful. But I would like to try replicating my boot toppers knit pattern in a bold red. Especially since I need my own pair now. My sister, Michelle, modeled the wheat version for my product photos and heavily hinted that she greatly admired them. I had a different project planned for her birthday present, but I suppose I know she will like these.
